MSJ Autumn Meeting 2026 at Kobe University

At the MSJ Spring Meeting and Autumn Meeting, oral presentations in the Regular Session are limited to members of the Mathematical Society of Japan (MSJ).

Those who are in the process of joining the MSJ may also give a regular talk, provided they complete the procedures 1–2 below by the designated deadlines.

1. Application for a Temporary Account to Use the Online System

Applications for regular talks and the submission of abstracts must be made via the online system. Please first apply for a temporary account to access the system.
Send an e-mail to the MSJ Secretariat (member(at)mathsoc.jp) with the subject line “Application for Temporary Account” and complete the following information:

The e-mail address provided here will be used as your account ID. A message will be sent to this address to set your password. (The manual for this procedure is available here.)

Application Period for Temporary Account:

　　May 28 (Thu) - June 18 (Thu), 15:00 JST

Submission Period for Application and Abstract of a Regular Talk:

　　May 29 (Fri), 0:00 - June 19 (Fri), 23:59 JST

2. Submission of Membership Application Form / Payment of Entrance Fee and First Membership Fee

By June 24 (Wed), you must complete both of the following:

a) Submit the membership application form.
b) Pay the entrance fee and the first membership fee.

Please note that the required documents and fees differ depending on whether your affiliation (or residence, if unaffiliated) is inside Japan or outside Japan.

• First membership Fee: 13,000 JPY (4,500 JPY if a certificate of student status is submitted together with the application form)

  Waived for members of AMS, SMF, NZMS, KMS, LMS, DMV, AustMS, RSME, SMT,
  TMS, CMS, and EMS under the reciprocity agreement.
• First membership Fee: Varies according to membership category (I–IV) as indicated in the application form.

*Bank transfer charges must be borne by the applicant.

If the membership application form and the payment of the entrance fee + first membership fee are not completed by June 24 (Wed), the submitted presentation will be cancelled.
