How to post your "abstract", manuscripts for proceedings.

Phase 1 Activate your account

  • The speakers at the Joint Meeting will receive e-mail from presindet(at)mathsoc.jp on June 28, which will explain briefly how you activate your account.
  • Then he/she will receive another mail from activation(at)mathsoc.jp. The mail will include the URL of a webpage which guides you to set up your own password.
  • The detail of this process is exlained in the manual.

Phase 2 Post your "abstract", manuscripts for proceedings

  • The submission of your "abstract" is to be done in another online application, MSJ-CONF system
    https://app.mathsoc.jp/msj-kms2012/
    which will be linked from the top of MSJ APP Server. You make login to MSJ-CONF System, with ID and password set up during the Activation process.
  • The word extended abstract may be misleadig for KMS members. It takes for proceedings of your talks.
  • The maximum length of an extended abstract is ten pages. You are asked to use the LaTeX Class File for contributed Talks which is linked below.
  • The detail about the Abstract Submission is also exlained at the end of the English Manual for MSJ-CONF System. This manual is designed for the MSJ Spring and Autumn Meetings. But the "Abstract" Submission is almost the same.
  • The deadline for the submission is on August 7 at 23:49.

LaTeX Class File for extended "Abstract"

(1) Speakers in the Joint Meeting are asked to prepare exteded "Abstract" with 11pt option:

(2) Speakers in the Autumn Meeting are asked to prepare exteded "Abstract" with 12pt option:
\documentclass[english,12pt]{msjproc}
(3) A simple document is now in preparation.
