The 2023 MSJ Spring Prize is awarded to

Kei IRIE (Associate Professor at Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Kyoto University)

for his outstanding contributions to

"Study on contact geometry, symplectic geometry and string topology"

The Spring Prize and the Autumn Prize are the most prestigious prizes awarded by the MSJ to its members. The Spring Prize is awarded to those of age below 40 who have obtained outstanding mathematical results.
