The 2019 MSJ Spring Prize

The 2019 MSJ Spring Prize is awarded to

Yasunori MAEKAWA (Associate Professor at Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University)

for his outstanding contributions to

"New developments for mathematical analysis of fluid mechanics".

The Spring Prize and the Autumn Prize are the most prestigious prizes awarded by the MSJ to its members. The Spring Prize is awarded to those of age below 40 who have obtained outstanding mathematical results.
