The 2016 MSJ Spring is awarded to
- Hiroshi Iritani (Associate Professor at Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University)
for his outstanding contributions to
- "Research on Gromov-Witten invariants and mirror symmetry"
The Spring Prize and the Autumn Prize are the most prestigious prizes awarded by the MSJ to its members. The Spring Prize is awarded to those of age below 40 who have obtained outstanding mathematical results.
