NAKAJIMA Hiraku will be awarded the Japan Academy Prize by the Japan Academy. NAKAJIMA Hiraku, a professor at the Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Kyoto University is recognized for his outstanding contributions to "Geometric Representation Theory and Mathematical Physics".

NAKAJIMA, Hiraku has been awarded important prizes such as 2000 MSJ Spring Prize, 2003 Cole Prize for Algebra and 2nd JSPS Prize.
