The 2012 MSJ Spring Prize
The 2012 MSJ Spring Prize is awarded to Shin-ichi OHTA, an associate professor at Department of Mathematics, Kyoto University. Shin-ichi OHTA is recognized for his outstanding contributions to "Geometric analysis on metric measure spaces and Finsler manifolds". The Spring Prize and the Autumn Prize of the Society are the most prestigious prizes awarded by the MSJ to its members.
