Yoichi MIYAOKA Takes Office as President of MSJ
Yoichi MIYAOKA, Professor at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Tokyo, begins in April a one-year term as President of the Mathematical Society of Japan. Yoichi MIYAOKA's main area of interest is algebraic geometry, specifically, the theory of biregular theory of algebraic varieties and complex manifolds.
