Direct methods and iterative solvers are limited in practice. The domain decomposition methods can be seen as a hybrid method which combines the best of both worlds: solving iteratively small subproblems by a direct method. However, since scattering problems are non definite positive, most particularly for medium to high frequency, adapted strategies must be used. In this talk, I will detail how the algorithm must be built to be robust and how to improve its convergence rate. In addition, I will show extended three-dimensional numerical examples related to acoustics and electromagnetism. These works are developed since a few years in collaboration with C. Geuzaine (University of Liège) and other colleagues. 2014年5月25日 菊池弘明 〒187-8577 東京都小平市津田町2-1-1 津田塾大学学芸学部数学科
