Statement of Organizing Committee

The International Mathematical Union (IMU) decided to hold the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) 2022 as a virtual event.

We will attempt to supplement the virtual ICM 2022 with an in-person event in order to keep some of the usual atmospheres of the ICM.
We will take this opportunity to present activities of mathematics and mathematical sciences in Japan to the world.
