MAEKAWA Yasunori was awarded the 26th Inoue Research Aid for Young Scientists by Inoue Foundation for Science. MAEKAWA Yasunori, a Lecturer at the Graduate School of Science, Kobe University is recognized for his remarkable contributions to "Mathematical approach to several problems related to viscous incompressible flows". The objective of the Research Aid is awarded to young researchers who presented Docter theses developing new academic fields.

MAEKAWA Yasunori was a winner of the MSJ 2008 Takebe Katahiro Prize for Encouragement of Young Researchers.
