Masayuki KAWAKITA to receive The Young Scientists' Prize
Masayuki KAWAKITA will be awarded 2009 Young Scientists' Prize by the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Masayuki KAWAKITA, an associate professor at RIMS, Kyoto University is recognized for his outstanding contributions to "Research on the higher dimensional minimal model theory". The purpose of the prize is to give recognition to young researchers under 41 who have done researches which are ground-breaking or based on a very original point of view.
